Welcome to Paradise!

Welcome to Paradise!

Costa Rica is hot. Almost 30 percent of the country’s surface consists of protected jungle, one of the results of 40 years of consistent reforestation. In addition, Costa Rica abolished its army in 1948 and its energy supply has been 98% renewable for the past 6 years. The United Nations declared Costa Rica the ‘greenest country in the world’ in September 2019.

The Costa Rican jungle is teeming with wildlife. Your Green Circle Experience will offer you unrivalled opportunities to enjoy Costa Rica’s abundant flora and fauna wherever you go. Sloths, monkeys, crocodiles, toucans, turtles…..You can spot them anywhere and the Costa Rican nature is often very accessible. With or without a guide.

Costa Rica truly is a little paradise. And it is our responsibility to keep it that way. If you choose to book our Green Circle Experience, you choose to support that goal. But you also choose to live your dream in an unprecedented way.
Pura Vida!

Bitzú Experience

Follow your heart!
The owners of Bitzu follow their heart. They were amongst the very first to drive an electric car here in Costa Rica. Eric is even the president of ASOMOVE, the Costa Rican organisation that represents owners of electric cars and stimulates electric mobility. His wife Gioconda is an artist and is very interested in indigeous tribes here in Costa Rica. Bitzu means ‘humming bird’ in Maleku.

Bitzu
Bitzu will bring you peace of mind. First of all by driving it, secondly by the destinations you will be travelling to as part of your Bitzu Experience.
This great car with a great story supports the volunteers who are cleaning up Rio Torres, a river that runs through the capital of San José and is rather polluted. Bitzu is a large car that comfortably fits a family of 4 including luggage. It is of course also great for couples that prefer to travel in a comfortable and luxurious way.
