Your hotel
On a beautiful spot in a jungle lagoon, you are a guest at the charming Lirio Lodge, far away from civilization and other tourists. There’s no WiFi or swimming pool, but you will not feel bored at this extraordinary place.
We can guarantee you will enjoy a great night’s sleep in the middle of nature. Wake up when the jungle awakens for the best chance to spot animals. Early in the morning, before the heat sets in, most animals are busy scoring their breakfast for the day.

Explore the area

During a guided walk, you will visit the primary rainforest in the Pacuare reserve, where you will spot different tropical birds like the oropendola and the colorful toucan.
A boat trip in the Pacuare channels will bring you closer to caimans, crocodiles, river turtles, sloths, snakes, birds, and monkeys. If you still haven’t seen it all, take a kayak or book an extra tour.
If you travel between March and June, take the opportunity to visit a local turtle project.

Good to know

There are no ATMs, supermarkets, or other facilities in Barra Pacuare.
Telephone or WiFi almost does not exist. A good connection with nature is what makes this stay so unique.
