About your Itinerary
Green Circle, the Most Sustainable Experience in the Greenest Country in the World
Dear Giles and Sarah,
Here’s a possible itinerary based on our chat. From what we talked about, I think Green Circle Experience could be a great fit. We’ve got hotels and ecolodges we know really well in all the places you mentioned, and they fit with our focus on showing a more authentic, less touristy Costa Rica.
A couple of things to help you decide: Green Circle Experience does custom trips with a low environmental impact. Our vehicles are 100% electric and have wraps with local plant and animal designs. Each vehicle donates 10% of its earnings to different social or environmental causes. The “Deep Blue” vehicle we’d suggest donates 10% to Sea Turtle Conservancy for marine turtle conservation.
We could also do the trip in a regular vehicle with our National Rent a Car partners.
Also, heads-up: we couldn’t find any openings with the hotels we work with in the Arenal/La Fortuna area, so that part’s blank for now.

About Transportation
Whether you are using the most beautiful car rental in the World. Or planning to travel by foot or public transportation we have you covered. Reach every corner but reach it!
Road Trips and Tips.
Do not want to do a circuit. We have quick road trips 1, 2, 3 or 4 days. All included, grab your keys and hit the road everything will be waiting for your upon arrival.
Travel with Kids
Costa Rica is extraordinarily family-friendly. A safe country, the tourist infrastructure of the country allow people from all ages to travel and enjoy it. Here are some tips for you to give your kids the memories of a lifetime
Costs and Money
Costa Rica´s coin is the colon during the year the change rate fluctuates between $1uds=¢510 to ¢580. Regarding budgets, there is quite a broad spectrum from ultra-luxury vacations to a more hitchhike experience.
Deep Blue
Costa Rica is bordered by the Caribbean Ocean and the Pacific Ocean – you will experience both our beautiful coasts and their differences on your Green Circle experience while driving arround with Deep Blue! Sadly beneath the surface it’s not all blue and beautiful like this stunning car: Everything is overfished.
Our oceans are home to a very important amount of marine life living here full time and migrating through our waters, for this we face a daily attack from the large international fishing fleets overfishing our coasts – and from shark finning.
Over 100 Million sharks have their fins sliced off every year worldwide, and are thrown back into the water alive, to meet the growing demand of shark fin soup in parts of Asia. Even though Costa Rica is good at environmental conservation in general, we have a very long way to go to correctly protect our waters and educate the population about this.
Deep Blue donates 10% of its income to Sea Turtle Conservancy. Because life begings at the Ocean.
